The Little Theatre and George Eastman House are teaming up for the Inaugural Fast Forward Film Festival.
Its the first festival of its kind to come to Rochester on April 17 and 18, kicking off Earth Week. The events include two nights of screenings and a Festival Gala and Award Ceremony at the Dryden Theatre at the George Eastman House.
Both nights will include 90-minute programs of short films about the environment, all made by Rochester filmmakers.
Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, film entries will begin playing followed by a Q&A at the Littel Theatre on East Ave. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students with ID. The events on Saturday will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the museum’s Potter Peristyle Lobby at the George Eastman House and includes light food and drink. The events will be followed by awards and cash prizes to first-place winners and three honorable mentions. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors. All proceeds go to film preservation at George Eastman House.
